Terms and Conditions for Lawn Lads Limited Lawn Mowing Services
1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Lawn Lads ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to customers ("you" or "client") in New Zealand. By engaging our lawn mowing services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services Provided We offer lawn mowing and related gardening services, including but not limited to trimming, edging, and removal of minor garden waste. Any additional services must be agreed upon in writing before commencement.
3. Service Agreement 3.1. By booking a service, you confirm that you have the authority to allow us access to the property. 3.2. We reserve the right to refuse service due to hazardous conditions, unsafe access, or unforeseen circumstances. 3.3. Services are provided on a one-time, recurring, or seasonal basis, as agreed upon.
4. Pricing and Payment 4.1. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. 4.2. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. 4.3. Late payments may incur additional fees. 4.4. Quotes provided are subject to change based on site conditions and additional requested services.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling 5.1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid cancellation fees. 5.2. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. 5.3. If access is denied at the scheduled time, a call-out fee may apply.
6. Liability and Damage 6.1. While we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for pre-existing property damage. 6.2. Clients must ensure their property is free from obstructions, debris, and hazards before service. 6.3. We are not responsible for damage to underground services (e.g., irrigation, cables) unless we have been given prior written notice of their locations.
7. Health and Safety 7.1. We comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and relevant New Zealand safety regulations. 7.2. Clients must inform us of any potential hazards before service commencement.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution 8.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of service completion. 8.2. We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns and find a resolution. 8.3. Any disputes that cannot be resolved may be referred to the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal.
9. Termination We reserve the right to terminate services at our discretion for reasons including non-payment, unsafe working conditions, or breach of these Terms.
10. Privacy and Data Protection 10.1. We collect and store customer information solely for service provision and administrative purposes. 10.2. Personal data is handled in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020.
11. Amendments We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available on our website or upon request.
12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
